raiderz Berserker Skill

raiderz Berserker Skill by cormaiel on raiderz official forum

Skill Damage/Effect per level. I didnt make this to guide others who are interested on which skills are to put points to and how much. Its all really about your preference and situation.

TIER 1 SKILLS

Crush - Has 10 seconds cooldown on all levels

> Level 1 : Deals 140% damage and knockdown to enemies hit. Can be blocked

> Level 2 : Deals 160% damage and knockdown to enemies hit. Can be blocked by shield only

> Level 3 : Deals 180% damage and knockdown to enemies hit. Unblockable

> Level 4 : Deals 200% damage and knockdown to enemies hit. Unblockable

> Level 5 : Deals 220% damage and knockdown to enemies hit. Unblockable

NOTE : This skill has slow animation speed. This skill is a Chain starter skill ; chains to Vanquish Skill.

Recommended Skill Level : Max for damage.

Dodge Attack - Simultaneously Dodges and damages target(s). This skill has a slow start and moves your character a bit to the right after skill use.

> Level 1 : Deals 120% damage and has 14 seconds cooltime.

> Level 2 : Deals 130% damage and has 13 seconds cooltime. Upon successful dodge, gives Identify Weakness buff that increases crit by 10%.

> Level 3 : Deals 140% damage and has 12 seconds cooltime. Upon successful dodge, gives Identify Weakness buff that increases crit by 10%Can be used while blocking.

NOTE : It will not dodge attacks immediately on start up because the Dodge starts when attack animation starts. This skill can be part of or be a chain starter : can be chained from Neutralize and/or can chain to Armageddon Crush.

Recommended Skill Level : 2 for Identify Weakness buff or 3 for less cooldown and ability to use while blocking.

Buffalo Charge - has 15 second cooldown on all levels and will knockdown target(s) that are hit 3 times by this skill.

> Level 1 : deals 70% damage up to 3 times.

> Level 2 : deals 80% damage up to 3 times.

> Level 3 : deals 90% damage up to 3 times.

> Level 4 : deals 100% damage up to 3 times.

> Level 5 : deals 110% damage up to 3 times.

NOTE : This skill has a quick start and runs in a straight line fast, although (in my opinion) the distance traveled is short. It’s hard to deal full 3 hits with this skill because its a charging skill which means you need to have good positioning. This skill is blockable but does not stagger you.

Recommended Skill Level : Level 1.

Two Hand Mastery - Increases damage of 2-hand Sword and 2-hand Blunt.

> Level 1 : Damage +2%

> Level 2 : Damage +4%

> Level 3 : Damage +6%

> Level 4 : Damage +8%

> Level 5 : Damage +10%

NOTE : This is a Passive Skill (I dont say!?). :P

Recommended Skill Level : Max for additional damage. (Although, in my current build I left it at level 3 to experiment with other skills more).

TIER 2 SKILLS

Neutralize - a fast frontal wide-arcing attack.

> Level 1 : Deals 150% damage and has 14 seconds cooltime.

> Level 2 : Deals 170% damage and has 13 seconds cooltime.

> Level 3 : Deals 190% damage and has 12 seconds cooltime.

NOTE : This is a chain starter, and it chains to Dodge Attack skill. No need to say that this is the fastest skill available to the berserker at the moment.

Recommended Skill Level : Max for damage and cooldown.

Berserk - activates Outrage Focus (Berserker Class Specific Buff). Resets the duration back to longest time available when used while under Outrage Focus Buff.

> Level 1 : Has a cooltime of 1 minute and 30 seconds.

> Level 2 : Has a cooltime of 1 minute and 10 seconds.

> Level 3 : Has a cooltime of 50 seconds.

NOTE : Using the skill does not stop you when you are moving.

Recommended Skill Level : have it at level 1 just as prerequisite skill or max it otherwise.

TIER 3 SKILLS

Nocturne - a Jumping skill that moves you a bit forward, has large hit area, knocks down all target(s) and is unblockable at all levels. Has 20 second cooltime at all levels.

> Level 1 : Deals 240% damage.

> Level 2 : Deals 300% damage.

> Level 3 : Deals 360% damage.

> Level 4 : Deals 420% damage.

> Level 5 : Deals 480% damage.

NOTE : This skill is only usable when Outrage Focus is activated but it does not consume/remove outrage Focus. Has a slow start but is unblockable even with the Defender’s Bastion Skill (I think but going to test it right away when servers are back up).

Recommended Skill Level : Max for Damage.

Frenzied Rush - Increases movement speed by 40% at all levels. Has 30 second cooltime at all levels.

> Level 1 : Movement Speed Increase last for 4 seconds.

> Level 2 : Movement Speed Increase last for 5 seconds. Decreases damage of 1 attack by 10% and becomes immune to any Immobilization debuff.

> Level 3 : Movement Speed Increase last for 6 seconds. Decreases damage of 2 attacks by 10% and becomes immune to any Immobilization debuff.

NOTE : This skill is only usable when Outrage Focus is activated, but will not consume/remove the buffHowever, this skill is removed instantly upon any form of attack. I think using this skill pauses your character for a little bit, and I have not tested if this skill remains when Outrage Focus is about to expire.

Recommended Level : Level 2 or Max for additional effect/longer duration.

No Mercy.

> Level 1 : Increases Critical Damage by 5%.

> Level 2 : Increases Critical Damage by 10%.

> Level 3 : Increases Critical Damage by 15%.

NOTE : This doesn’t say that it is exclusive for 2-hand sword and 2-hand mace so this might be a good skill to have when going hybrid.

Recommended Level : Max.

TIER 4 SKILLS

Upward Strike - Deals damage while simultaneously dodging attack(s). Has a cooldown of 10 Seconds at all levels.

> Level 1 : Deals 120% damage and grants Identify Weakness buff.

> Level 2 : Deals 130% damage and grants Identify Weakness buff.

> Level 3 : Deals 140% damage and grants Identify Weakness buff.

NOTE : Has a quick start and moves your character a bit more forward and to the left. This skill is the same with Dodge Attack. In addition, this skill is a chain starter for Vanquish Skil.

Recommended Level : Level 1 as additional Dodge Skill.

Tranquility - currently the only berserker’s self heal skill.

> Level 1 : Recovers Stamina by 50. If Outrage Focus is activated, this skill will remove the Outrage Focus buff in exchange for recovering your health equal to 10% of your Max HP. Has a 32 second cooltime.

> Level 2 : Recovers Stamina by 60. If Outrage Focus is activated, this skill will remove the Outrage Focus buff in exchange for recovering your health equal to 15% of your Max HP. Has a 31 Second cooltime.

> Level 3 : Recovers Stamina by 70. If Outrage Focus is activated, this skill will remove the Outrage Focus buff in exchange for recovering your health equal to 20% of your Max HP. Has a 30 second cooltime.

Recommended Level : Level 1 as prerequisite to Madness Control(Not available yet at NA CBT) Skill at Tier 7 (Level Cap 35) ; or Max for effect.

TIER 5 SKILLS

Bash - knocks back target(s). This skill is unblockable.

> Level 1 : Deals 140% damage and has a cooltime of 21 seconds.

> Level 2 : Deals 160% damage and has a cooltime of 20 seconds.

> Level 3 : Deals 180% damage and has a cooltime of 19 seconds.

NOTE : This skill needs to have Outrage Focus buff activated but does not consume/remove the Outrage Focus buff. This skill is probably the 2nd fastest start and animation speed out of Berserker skills.

Recommended Level : Level 1 as additional CC.

Armageddon Crush - Does a fast swing twice with each dealing damage ; and knocks back target(s) when the 2 hits connect.

> Level 1 : Deals 80% damage per hitand has 24 second cooltime.

> Level 2 : Deals 90% damage per hit and has 23 second cooltime.

> Level 3 : Deals 100% damage per hit and has 22 second cooltime.

> Level 4 : Deals 110% damage per hit and has 21 second cooltime.

> Level 5 : Deals 120% damage per hit and has 20 second cooltime.

NOTE : This skill is chainable from Dodge Attack Skill. Has a quick start but overall slow animation speed(because swings twice).

Recommended Level : Level 1 as additional CC.

Rip Out Wound - Physical Critical Hits inflicts bleeding damage every 2 seconds for 8 seconds on target(s) hit.

> Level 1 : Bleeding Damage is equal to 10% of Physical Damage. Increases Critical Rate by 3%(?) and reduces movement speed by 10%(?).

> Level 2 : Bleeding Damage is equal to 14% of Physical Damage. Increases Critical Rate by 3%(?) and reduces movement speed by 10%(?).

NOTE : Critical Rate increase in not shown on Character Information Window and movement speed decrease (if there’s any) is unnoticeable to both target and yourself ; so, I assume that this skill reduces Critical Resistance of target and reduces their movement speed but is currently a bugged skill.

Recommended Level : Level 1 for additional attack effect (DoTs).

TIER 6 SKILLS

Vanquish - This skill is unblockable. Has a 3 Second cooltime at all levels.

> Level 1 : Deals 180% damage and knockdowns the target(s) hit.*

> Level 2 : Deals 220% damage and knockdowns the target(s) hit.*

> Level 3 : Deals 260% damage and knockdowns the target(s) hit.*

> Level 4 : Deals 300% damage and knockdowns the target(s) hit.*

> Level 5 : Deals 340% damage and knockdowns the target(s) hit.*

NOTE : This skill sometimes knockbacks the target. I’m still observing at which situations does it knock back the target. Moreover, you will have a buff resembling the Crush Icon which says Vanquish is available for use. It only last for 2 or 3 seconds which means that is the time frame to use this skill or else it’ll get cancelled like Nocturne and Bash.
This skill is probably the 3rd skill that has quickest start and animation speed.

Recommended Skill Level : Max for damage. (Currently attainable only at level 1).

Escape - Hops back, removing all immobilization debuff and increases movement speed by 40% for 2 seconds afterWards. Has a 30 second cooltime.

NOTE : This skill is awesome. Its available for use whenever you’re put to sleep (tried it on Aruka on Garden). Havent tested yet on stuns. The action is like a normal back dodge and can be used as such since it only consumes 10 Stamina compared to 30 stamina of dodging.

TIER 7 SKILLS (Not in CBT ; only in KR Raiderz at the moment)

Tornado Swing(?) - attack the target(s) 4 times. This skill is a forward moving action(?).
> Level 1 : Each hit deals 140% damage. Has a cooltime of 1 minute.

> Level 2 : Each hit deals 150% damage. Has a cooltime of 58 seconds.

> Level 3 : Each hit deals 160% damage. Has a cooltime of 56 seconds.

NOTE : I know this isnt in CBT so there’s no way of knowing but if you remember the 2nd skill when wielding the Mace-like weapon gotten from mobs near the beach back in Broken Mast, I think that skill is similar (if its not that) to this one.

~ Madness Control(?)(Name maybe different) -

~ Berserker’s Blood(?)(Name maybe different) -

I apologize if this thread doesnt look as fancy as the others. I just made this to kill some time and I did this in notepad application. :P

There’s another guide made earlier by theamused92.

I’ll also leave this link here for those interested.
KR Raiderz Skill/Talent Calculator :

http://raiderz.inven.co.kr/dataninfo/simul/write.php

The link is not mine and I’m not the one who found it.
You can use google chrome and then translate if you want since all you need to find out about are the values per level of skill.
Though, some skills doesnt show any additional effect (for instance, Dodge attack at level 3 in that calculator doesnt show that it can be used while blocking); and berserker tree is not shown available for plate when it does.

Plate Mail vs Chain Mail

Ok.. I just remembered to put this in here since some people are wondering which to get. Both are bad ; still just a matter of preference but I’ll say for certain that berserkers are meant to deal damage. If you’re confident that you can deal damage and want to wear plate, go with one.

Here’s a bit of my post from theamused92′s thread regarding the Chain Armor Sets and Plate Armor Sets :

>Most Chain Sets give Strength and Agility [Damage increase and Crit rate increase, respectively], and some give Intelligence [Energy Increase and MAtk Increase] instead of Agility (Notice that there’s always Strength in Chain Armor Sets).

If my guess is correct, Intelligence on Chain sets appear only when the sets give out an effect that needs modifier from Intelligence (like Garden Set where Set Effect heals you, but heals are greater if you have greater Intelligence, thus it gives you Strength and Intelligence, not Strength and Agility)

>Now, Plate Sets will always give Vitality (which increase PAtk slightly based on the description in addition to increase to Max HP) but I cant guess when it’ll give Strength stat or Agi Stat so you cant say that go Plate Set if you want more Crit. A definite thing for Plate Set is they have more HP and vastly huge PDef comapred to Chain Sets.

For now atm, there’s around 300-600 difference on MDef between Plate and Chain but Im guessing since the sorc nerf, a few hundred difference is enough.

In Summary :
> Go Chain Set for More Strength Stats and Higher MDef compared to Plate ; go Plate Set otherwise for more HP and PDef.
